The bricklink haul has ended...Lego MOC begins!

As you might remember, I started doing Bricklink orders to build a MOC that I had palgarised and modified.

Just last week I finally got all my orders through and received. All in all it took 7 orders to get all the parts required. Some parts were second hand as well and thankfully the condition of these parts were okay.

Of course I could not resist getting some other stuff along the way, especially accessory based items to modify my sets. As you can see, I also purchased the first of two Christmas seasonal sets that is not available in Singapore. Will probably do a review on it when I start building it in the month of December. In fact during that month, I will also be assembling my other Christmas sets as a run up to the Christmas holiday.

I also got some plants, trees and leaves. In fact I think i got more than enough of them for quite a while. Quite pleased with the varieties of plants, trees and leaves. Might want to do a separate article on the different kinds that I accumulated. Some are quite uncommon.

Anyways, onwards to the my latest project. I have started and here is a shot of the base with just the tiles for the base floor laid out.

Will update as and when I can on this project. It is really something I look forward to assembling. The terrible part is to go through all the 4 thousand plus parts. It is slow going and to add to that, using LDD's generated building guide means assembling somewhat in a non-systematic fashion (to the human, but probably entirely logical to the AI in the program). So onwards ho!
